Your privacy matters. This page explains what data Sumox Games collects, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.
When you create an account we store your email address, chosen display name, and profile image if you upload one. We also keep basic session metadata — things like your IP address and browser type — so we can secure your account and debug issues. Game progress, badges, and activity logs are tied to your account to power the features you use every day.
Your data keeps the platform running. We use it to authenticate you, save your game progress, show you relevant content, and send important account notifications. We may analyze aggregate, anonymized usage patterns to improve performance and add new features. We never sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties.
Sumox Games uses cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (like your theme choice). These are strictly necessary for the site to function. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.
We use Vercel for hosting and analytics, and Better Auth for authentication. These providers process data on our behalf under strict agreements. Social login (Google, GitHub, Discord) is handled through their respective OAuth flows — we receive only the basic profile information you authorize.
When you leave a comment on a blog post your display name is shown publicly alongside your message. Your email is never displayed. You can change your display name at any time in Settings, and deleted comments are removed permanently.
You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your account entirely. To make a request, reach out through our Discord server or email us directly. We will respond within 30 days.
Sumox Games is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the minimum age. If we discover that a minor's data has been collected we will delete it promptly.
We may revise this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will post a notice on the site and update the date below. Your continued use of Sumox Games after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
